High Maintenance Sewing Machine Services was founded 17th of June 2002 by Hans Martini. Hans is the director of the company and has been servicing and providing training for sewing machines and sewing products since the early 1980's. Hans started his career with Pfaff in Germany in 1984 taking on a Sewing Machine Technician apprenticeship. After finishing the apprenticeship in 1988 he stayed with Pfaff - first as a Sewing Machine Technician for a year and then moving into the area of Service & Technical training, specialising in high-tech computerised sewing machines. In 1992 the opportunity arose for Hans to go to Australia as National Service & Training Manager for Pfaff Singer Australia Pty Ltd. Here he continued to evolve his skills and knowledge of Sewing products, not only for Pfaff and Singer, but also other brands. Continuing working with sewing machines and sewing products, Hans takes the position of National Sales & Marketing Manager for Aisin Australia Pty Ltd. in 1997. Here he further evolves his knowledge of a wide variety of brands and Hans now services all brands with great confidence. Hans has always had a passion for antique sewing machines.
